IPL Hair Removal
 

This incredible new therapy is based on emitting high intensity pulses of light to penetrate the skin to perform such treatments as Hair Removal. The Intense Light penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the Melanin in the hair. This absorption treats the hair, with the heat being transported to the nourishment structure of the hair (follicle). This is heated for a millisecond thus destroying the follicle. Hundreds of follicles are destroyed by each flash, and the hairs then fall out in approximately 1-2 weeks.  In order to permanently remove hair, the hair must be treated with IPL during the ‘anagen’ or alternatively named the ‘active phase of growth.  It is recommended that 6-8 consecutive sessions 4-6 weeks between sessions have the greater success rate.

IPL Thread Veins

IPL thread vein removal works by directing an intense beam of light directly at the thread veins which causes the blood inside them to coagulate (dry and then harden). These dried out blood vessels are then absorbed naturally by the body so they will no longer be visible. IPL thread vein removal is especially effective at specifically only damaging the actual thread veins rather than the surrounding tissues, meaning little damage is caused to the surrounding skin. This is an advantage over laser thread vein removal and for this reason it can be used to treat larger thread veins than the laser can.

Laser Tattoo Removal

If you have an “unloved, unwanted tattoo or just need a ‘cover up”.  We currently use the “Gold Standard” Q Switch Nd:YAG Laser that uses the 1064nm and 532nm wavelengths.  Our treatments are very affordable and effective for a wide range of tattoos of all shapes, sizes and colours.

The number of treatments will vary from client to client and will depend on a variety of factors such as; skin type, location of tattoo, the amount and colour of ink and size of tattoo, these will all factor in to having the tattoo removed and how many sessions will be needed.  Based on these factors we can give a rough estimate of the amount of sessions you may need.
